Description
It is a truth universally acknowledged that a techie in possession of any production code whatsoever must be in want of a container orchestration platform. What’s up for debate, according to noted thought leader Jane Austen, is how many pizzas the team is going to eat. In this hands-on Kubernetes workshop, Bridget Kromhout walks you through launching clusters and details all the moving parts you need to know about to use Kubernetes in production. If you’re into dev or ops or some portmanteau thereof, this is relevant to your interests. We’ll use an Azure variant based on the open source k8s training at container.training—whatever public or private cloud you prefer, you’ll learn something valuable. Join us to level up on k8s (and pizza).

... And I'd like to thank @bridgetkromhout for giving me the opportunity to assist her with her Kubernetes workshop at #OSCON. It was challenging (but fun!) to help attendees 5000 miles away to deploy their containers! 🌎👩🏼🏫💻✨☄️ 👨🏻🏫🌍

... I know. That's cheating. But we'll do anything we can to make sure that people come here to chew bubble gum and deploy containers, and run all out of gum!
If you've ever delivered a workshop to hundreds at once, you know it's challenging to get attendees all the resources they need to get started (thanks to @joelaha and @karenhchu!) and it's equally challenging to answer questions as you go (thanks so much to @jpetazzo!) #oscon ✨ https://t.co/tkkE3pgGdS

Thanks again to the 250+ people at #oscon who participated in today's k8s 101 workshop; it was so fun spending three hours with you! Slides & tweets at https://t.co/zwNxwIkyZT, and please do rate/review the workshop if you'd like. ✨
